Describe how Participating Agencies are ensured that.}will receive the Master Agreement pricing; include <br /> all distribution channels such as direct ordering, retail or in-store locations, through distributors, etc. <br /> Describe how Participating Agencies verify and audit pricing to ensure its compliance irith the Master <br /> Agreement. <br /> Insight Response: <br /> Insight takes contract compliance very seriously, and we have a dedicated Contract Compliance <br /> team that sits under Legal to ensure we're adhering to the terms and conditions of our contracts. <br /> From a systems perspective, Insight has a Contracts Module that is designed specifically to <br /> reduce possible human error. The system calculates the contract sell price, preventing anyone <br /> from charging more than the approved contract price. This function disallows the sales team from <br /> saving a quote or order unless the price is at or below the contracted price. Insight's Compliance <br /> team is the only team capable of assigning a contract to an account. The system, through a series <br /> of rules, automatically assigns the products to the contract. Sales cannot misrepresent that a <br /> specific product is on contract when it is not. The Compliance team audits the sales activity and <br /> reviews every new account for accuracy (so that the contracts related are accurate). <br /> Insight does not have any retail or in-store locations, nor we do sell our products, services, and <br /> solutions through distributors. All sales will be made directly through Insight via our sales <br /> teammates. <br /> D. Identify all other companies that will be involved in processing, handling or shipping the productslser vice <br /> to the end user. <br /> Insight Response: <br /> Products shipped from Insight's Distribution Facility in Hanover Park, Illinois, can be shipped via <br /> UPS, Fed Ex, Truckline, major airlheavy freight carriers such as Ceva, PGL, or a client-requested <br /> carrier. The number of business days for delivery after receipt of order varies based on the <br /> method in which the product was shipped (i.e., UPS, FedEx, etc.)and the priority it was shipped. <br /> Due to our large shipping volume, Insight has negotiated some of the best rates with many of the <br /> carriers listed. Insight will ship products using the most aggressive priced carrier depending on <br /> poundage and scheduled delivery. Insight will adhere to specific client requests to use a different <br /> carrier and/or upgrade to a "Priority"shipment. <br /> Because Insight cares about the security of our clients' shipments, we have instructed our delivery <br /> agents not to leave packages at a client location without a signature. Clients may choose to have <br /> their order delivered to an alternate location if they will not be available to receive it. <br /> For hardware, we have "direct-ship" programs with many of our partners, including manufacturers <br /> and distributors, allowing us to expand our product offerings without increasing inventory, <br /> handling costs or inventory risk exposure. As a result, we can provide a product offering with <br /> billions of dollars of products in virtual inventory.
