g. Install and/or repair trash capture devices in Municipal catch basins, including but not <br /> limited to: <br /> • Connector Pipe Screen (CPS) units <br /> • Auto-Retractable Screen (ARS) units <br /> • Other devices listed on the State Water Resources Control Board Certified <br /> Full Capture List of Trash Treatment Control Devices: <br /> htlps://www.waterboards.ca.gov/water issues/12rograms/stormwater/docs/ <br /> trash_implementation/certified_fcsdevicelist 16Feb2021.pdf <br /> h. Provide on-call operations, maintenance, and repair services for the City's stormwater <br /> lift stations, including but not limited to: <br /> • Monitoring storm events and performing inspections to verify lift stations <br /> are operational and ready to pump stormwater <br /> • Vacuum cleaning lift station wet-well, stormdrain lines, and catch basin <br /> inlets as-needed <br /> • Responding to and resolving urgent issues with the lift station 24-hours a <br /> day, 7-days a week <br /> • Conducting electrical and mechanical repairs or troubleshooting as-needed <br /> Contractors shall respond to lift station issues via phone within 1-hr of initial <br /> request. <br /> i. Procure and install steel barriers to prevent trespassing into stormdrain facilities. At a <br /> minimum, steel barriers shall: <br /> • Prohibit access by the public into stormdrain facilities <br /> • Have a tamper-proof locking mechanism <br /> • Be capable of opening freely during storm conditions or debris blockage <br /> • Be made of material strong enough to withstand potential vandalism <br /> The City will provide barrier design details for contractors to procure and install. <br /> j. Utilize appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) when performing stormdrain <br /> facility maintenance and cleaning services as required by CAL-OSHA or other <br /> applicable Local, State and Federal safety regulatory agencies. <br /> k. Contractor shall ensure all employees have adequate confined space entry training <br /> and equipment, when required, while providing Storm Drain Facility Maintenance <br /> Services. <br /> City of Santa Ana RFP 26-018 Page Al-6 <br />
