Based on criteria outlined in the RFP, the following <br /> summarizes the top responding firms: <br /> Firm City Rankin <br /> Ocean Blue Environmental Long Beach, CA 1 <br /> Services, Inc. <br /> United Storm Water, Inc. City of Industry, CA 2 <br /> Patriot Environmental Services Signal Hill, CA 3 <br /> Clean Harbors Environmental Norwell, MA 4 <br /> Services, Inc. <br /> Staff recommends awarding an agreement to the two highest-ranked firms, Ocean Blue <br /> Environmental Services, Inc. and United Storm Water, Inc. These firms have the most <br /> experience performing similar services for public agencies, including the City of Dana <br /> Point, Orange County Public Works, LA County Public Works, City of Tustin, Caltrans, <br /> and the City of Oceanside. They also demonstrated a strong understanding of the <br /> City's need for these services and provided numerous references for similar work within <br /> the last five years. The primary services to be provided under these two agreements are <br /> storm drain facility maintenance, hazardous waste disposal, and spill response. <br /> Additional services as described in the RFP will also be provided under these <br /> agreements, including stormwater lift station maintenance, weed abatement in <br /> stormwater channels, flood control assistance, and maintenance of various <br /> underground clarifiers at the City's Corporate Yard. <br /> ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT <br /> There is no environmental impact associated with this action. <br /> FISCAL IMPACT <br /> Funds are budgeted and available for expenditure during Fiscal Year 2025-26 in the <br /> following accounts.
