REYNOSO Approved By: <br />Date of Report: 10/30/12 Date:11/6/12 <br />Page 1 of 9 <br /> <br />CASE NAME: GUILLEN, JAIME LOPEZ <br />CLASSIFICATION: OFFICER INVOLVED SHOOTING (NON-FATAL) <br />TYPE: CANVASS <br />AGENCY: SANTA ANA POLICE DEPARTMENT <br />On Monday, October 22, 2012, at 2241 hours, I was contacted by Orange County District <br />Attorney (OCDA) Supervising Investigator RON SEMAN, regarding a Santa Ana Police <br />Department (SAPD) officer involved shooting. Supervising Investigator SEMAN asked me to <br />respond to the area of 520 West Walnut Street, Santa Ana and assist in the investigation. <br />At approximately 0005 hours, on October 23, 2012, I arrived and met with investigators <br />from the Orange County District Attorney’s Office, Santa Ana Police Department and the <br />Orange County Crime Lab (OCCL) personnel. <br />At approximately 0037 hours, Santa Ana Police Sergeant JIM ARMSTRONG conducted a <br />briefing of the shooting incident. At the conclusion of the briefing, Supervising Investigator <br />SEMAN assigned me to partner with SAPD Detective JIM GARCIA and conduct canvass <br />interviews. Detective GARCIA and I began our canvass at approximately 0053 hours. The <br />following interviews were audio digitally recorded.
