BERRY #235 <br /> <br />ORANGE COUNTY DISTRICT ATTORNEY’S OFFICE <br />BUREAU OF INVESTIGATION <br />INTERVIEW REPORT <br /> <br />CASE NAME: ALMANZA, MARCELINO VALENCIA <br />CLASSIFICATION: OFFICER INVOLVED SHOOTING ‐ (NON‐FATAL) <br />INTERVIEW OF: JOHN CLOUGHEN, PARAMEDIC <br />ORANGE COUNTY FIRE AUTHORITY <br /> <br />DATE AND TIME: OCTOBER 3, 2012 0840 0856 HOURS <br />LOCATION: ORANGE COUNTY FIRE AUTHORITY <br />FIRE STATION 76 <br />950 WEST MACARTHUR BOULEVARD, SANTA ANA <br />On the above date and time, I conducted an audio digital recorded interview of Orange <br />County Fire Authority (OCFA) Firefighter / Paramedic JOHN CLOUGHEN regarding the Santa Ana <br />Police Department officer involved shooting incident of MARCELINO ALMANZA. The incident <br />occurred to the rear of 3005 South Bristol Street, in the city of Santa Ana. CLOUGHEN referred <br />to a copy of OCFA incident report 2012‐007015‐000 for specific details related to the incident. <br />The following is a summary of the interview: <br />On September 10, 2012, at approximately 0022 hours, OCFA Unit T76, B9, Medic Unit 77 <br />and CAR283 ambulance were dispatched to a shooting incident. The responding personnel <br />were dispatched to the area of South Bristol and West Segerstrom Avenue. <br /> According to CLOUGHEN and the OCFA incident report, the following OCFA personnel <br />responded to this incident: <br />• GRADY MARQUEZ Captain Unit T76 <br />• JOHN TIMOTI Engineer Unit T76 <br />• JOHN CLOUGHEN Paramedic Unit T76 <br /> Approved By: <br />Date of Report: October 3, 2012 Date: 10/10/12 <br />Page 1 of 3
