There was a white pillow and an “Orange Crush” bottle, which contained a clear <br />liquid, on the right rear floorboard. There was a deodorant stick on the right side of the rear <br />bench seat. <br />In the rear of the vehicle, behind the rear passenger seatback, there was a blue athletic <br />bag, miscellaneous papers, an Anaheim Angles blanket, vehicle owner’s manual, and the vehicle <br />registration card. <br />Close examination of the vehicle for projectile impact evidence revealed the following: <br /> There was a bullet grazing strike (Evidence Marker “A”) on the rear portion of the <br />exterior of the left rear fender flare. The penetration of the grazing strike was shallow at the <br />furthest rear point and became deeper near the leading edge of the fender flare. The grazing <br />strike was approximately 34” above ground level (AGL). <br />There was one apparent bullet strike (Evidence Marker B) on the exterior rear portion <br />of the left rear fender flare, to the left of the vehicle body. The bullet strike was approximately <br />34½” AGL. There was an apparent bullet exit hole (Evidence Marker B) on the interior rear <br />portion of the left rear fender flare at approximately 34” AGL. There was one apparent bullet <br />strike (Evidence Marker B) on the interior front portion of the left rear fender flare at <br />approximately 32” AGL. There was an apparent bullet exit hole (Evidence Marker B) on the <br />front exterior portion of the left rear fender flare at approximately 32” AGL. There was an <br />apparent bullet strike (Evidence Marker B) on the exterior side of the lower left rear door hinge <br />at approximately 31” AGL. <br />There was an apparent bullet strike (Evidence Marker C) at the base of the vehicle <br />fiberglass shell, just to the left of the left side of the rear shell window.
