MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING NO. C-9-0824 <br />EXHIBIT A <br />Deliverables: Items to be delivered by the CONSULTANT to AUTHORITY under this <br />CONTRACT. <br />Design, Furnish, Install: CONTRACT delivery method whereby a consultant or <br />contractor develops and provides the Design, Furnishing and Installation requirements <br />for all Components, parts, equipment, assemblies, subsystems, and systems including <br />hardware, software, Interfaces, wires, cables, harnesses, incidentals and other services, <br />including labor and management, and all other related contractual requirements. <br />Direction: Assigned movement and orientation of a bus on the Corridor. For <br />convention, movements are either North -South or East-West. <br />Draft (Design): The design which depicts all necessary elements of the System or <br />subsystem and which requires AUTHORITY and agencies review. This design is not <br />ready to be implemented and installed. This is the design prior to Final Design. <br />Drawings: Plans, Contract Drawings. <br />F <br />Factory Acceptance Tests: Tests performed prior to shipment to verify compliance <br />with specifications and quality standards. <br />Failure: Malfunction of a Component, Assembly, or system resulting from a cause other <br />than misuse, mishandling, or vandalism, requiring unscheduled maintenance/ <br />replacement to restore to normal operating condition to achieve its intended function. <br />Fault: The malfunction of a Component, Assembly, or system that is not caused due to <br />vandalism or mishandling. <br />Field Conditions: Including, but not limited to, site conditions, traffic patterns, etc. <br />Final (Design): The design which depicts all necessary elements of the System or <br />subsystem and which is ready to be implemented and installed. <br />I <br />Invitation for Bid (IFB): Bid procurement delivery method commonly used for Public <br />Works construction contracts. <br />Independent Failure: A Failure which is not the result of another Failure, either directly <br />or indirectly. <br />Indicated: As used in these Contract Documents, shall be understood to mean, "as <br />Scope of Work 114 05/18/10 <br />
