Proposed <br />Hourly Rate Hours Total <br />Construction Mgr, or <br />Resident Engineer $ /Hr. 600 $ <br />Inspector construction $ /Hr. 600 $ <br />[Ill] Grand total of the estimated proposed cost shall be the sum of (1) Itemized <br />breakdown for services and (11) Contingency services. Service by the Consultant will <br />stop after the construction completion of this project. Consultant will be <br />compensated for actual hours of service, hourly rates, unit costs and reimbursable <br />expenses according to the fee schedule of the contract; this contract is a not to <br />exceed contract. <br />[IV] Since demolition activities and some construction activities will take place only in the <br />dry season due to seasonal constraints of working in the riverbed and to comply with <br />the project permits, construction may need to be suspended during the rainy. <br />Therefore; the consultant shall propose a plan to deal with staffing idle time during <br />the construction suspension. <br />XII. SELECTION PROCEDURE <br />After all proposals have been evaluated fully by a selection committee, the consultants <br />with the highest scores may be invited to participate in a presentation/interview. The rating <br />of the consultants shall be based on the professional qualifications necessary for the <br />satisfactory completion of the project. <br />Following this, the envelope containing Fee and Reimbursable Expenses of the best <br />proposals will be opened. The ultimate selection will be based upon both technical merit <br />and cost competitiveness. <br />The City reserves the right to negotiate with the qualified proposers regarding the <br />proposed fees prior to award of the agreement. <br />The selected consultant (Consultant) shall execute an agreement based on the format <br />shown in Section XVII. <br />XIII. METHOD OF PAYMENT <br />Payment to the Consultant shall be made monthly based on hourly rates and hours <br />worked in performing the required services. Invoices shall be submitted to the <br />Construction Engineer or his authorized representative for approval. Consultant's invoices <br />shall include a breakdown of staff hours for each task and necessary reimbursable items. <br />10
