<br />Resident Engineer responsible for reconstruction/retrofit of the interchange, reconstruction of city
<br />intersections, city streets, two drainage boxes, new electrical sign, landscaping and extensive public
<br />relations effort with major shopping center, Hawaiian Gardens Casino and three cities. Project included
<br />precast, prestressed, T bulb girders constructed on pile and spread footings over Carson Street-the main
<br />freeway exit to the Carson Mall. Construction cost $12 million.
<br />1-10 Interchange at Monterey and Cook Streets, and Washington Avenue, Caltrans District 7, Palm Desert, CA
<br />Resident Engineer responsible for contract and construction management, including staff management for
<br />the construction of bridge structures and roadway reconstruction. These three projects consisted of 10
<br />structures involving staged demolition and construction of structures over a Union Pacific main rail line.

<br />Interchange Improvements, Moreno Valley, CA
<br />Project Director responsible for the $16,000,000 SR-60/Nason Street Interchange Improvements project
<br />which reconstructs and realigns Nason Street/SR-60 Interchange on-off ramps.
<br />1-405/Wilmington Avenue Interchange Modification Construction Management, Carson, CA
<br />Project Manager/Resident Engineer for the $24 million Wilmington and 1-405 Interchange Modification
<br />project in the City of Carson. Responsible for advertising, awarding and constructing advance utility
<br />relocations with California water service (CALWATER); Southern California Gas Company; Caltrans CCTV;
<br />Exxon/Mobile, BP/Arco, Shell and Mobile Pipelines; GTE and Time Warner; and Southern California Edison.
<br />Interchange improvements includes surveying, pavement, sidewalks, drainage facilities, traffic signals
<br />and retaining walls within the existing and acquired right-of-way. Additional services included bridge
<br />widening at 223rd Street over the Dominguez Channel with substructure construction in the channel,
<br />roadway widening, utility relocation, drainage facility construction, paving, electrical, and landscaping.
<br />He administered the contract, managed staff, and managed construction inspection, CPM scheduling,
<br />facilitating and attending public meetings and pre-construction meetings with all stakeholders. Prepared
<br />purchase orders, notice to proceed, daily diaries, contract administration, traffic controls, utility
<br />coordination, identified and reported potential contractor claims and recommended resolution, prepared
<br />weekly statement of work, ensured labor compliance.
<br />National Trails Highway Overhead and Nisqualli Road Improvement, Victorville, CA
<br />Project Manager responsible for supervising construction management, resident engineering, inspection,
<br />project controls CPM scheduling, electrical inspection, landscape inspection and extensive public relations
<br />effort with local residents, 2 elementary schools, 2 apartment complexes, and local businesses. The project
<br />included construction of a new bridge over rail facilities, construction detour and traffic control on historic
<br />Highway 66, roadway construction, utility relocation, electrical, and landscaping. Construction cost $10 million.
<br />1-110 Freeway Widening, Los Angeles, CA
<br />This project included the widening of 3 miles of the 1-110 Freeway including structures removal and
<br />construction, construction of 4 new structures, grading and paving, utility relocation, drainage facility
<br />construction, electrical, and landscaping. Construction cost $65 million.
