<br />Construction Inspector
<br />Mr. Burbano has more than 12 years of construction management experience
<br />as an Assistant Resident Engineer, Bridge & Roadway Lead inspector, Office
<br />Engineer, and Assistant Structure Representative. He is a seasoned engineer
<br />cross-trained on both roadway and structures on rail and flood control projects
<br />making him a valuable asset for the First Street Bridge Replacement project.
<br />Mr. Burbano is well versed with FHWA and Caltrans funding, as wells as USACE,
<br />CDFG, and county flood control district permits. His roadway inspection
<br />experience includes, but is not limited to, inspection of mass grading, drainage
<br />facilities, AC and PCC paving, traffic delineation, traffic control, project safety
<br />implementation, and SWPPP and BMP enforcement. His structures inspection
<br />experience includes working on flood control structure projects, inspection
<br />of retaining walls, box culverts, CIDH piles, shoring and excavations, sub and
<br />super-structure inspection, and bulb tee girder inspection. As a lead inspector
<br />he has worked on various public works and Caltrans structure projects, as
<br />well as working in and around channels during structure construction. Mr.
<br />Burbano is versed with CPM analysis and updates and has completed a number
<br />of constructability reviews, has extensive experience working with Caltrans
<br />Standard Plans, Specifications and Local Assistance Procedures Manual,
<br />and CaIOSHA Construction and Safety Orders. He has extensive experience
<br />interpreting plans, specifications, special provisions, standard plans, Green
<br />Book, and MUTCD with the ability to identify potential problems and
<br />propose effective solutions. Mr. Burbano is also experienced in construction
<br />documentation, processing Contract Change Orders (CCOs), monthly progress
<br />pay estimates, extra work bills, writing correspondence, labor compliance
<br />procedures, and has monitored projects with thorough documentation per
<br />FHWA requirements.

<br />Lead Structures & Roadway inspector responsible for leading the team
<br />with inspections for the construction of two PC/PS bulb tee girder bridges
<br />over San Bernardino County Flood Control District channel and Union
<br />Pacific Railroad. Inspection included roadway improvements utilizing
<br />Caltrans Local Assistance and FHWA funding. Responsibilities included
<br />major coordination with SBCFCD, UPRR, SCE Transmission & Distribution,
<br />Time Warner, Kinder Morgan, So Cal Gas, Verizon, Loma Linda Water, etc.
<br />Mr. Burbano led the field team in structures and roadway inspection and
<br />made on-site decisions to accommodate the existing field conditions.
