Identification of Areas for Discussion
41 C.F.R. § 60-2.17(6)
Hill's commitment to fully implement this policy and plan include periodic reviews of mission critical
workforce factors. Hill's review process aims to ensure the following:
1. The workforce composition by race and sex generally matches the availability for the protected
groups.
2. Hill's applicant flow generally matches the availability for the protected groups.
3. Transfers and promotions within the workforce for protected groups are statistically similar to
what might be expected based upon availability.
4. The selection procedures are non-discriminatory and do not have any statistically significant
impact on minorities or women.
5. Qualifications are job-related and do not have any statistically significant impact on minorities or
women.
6. Selection forms, such as applications for employment, comply with federal and state
employment laws.
7. Comparisons of hires to applicants indicate no statistically significant impact on minorities and
women.
8. Hill encourages minorities and women to participate in Company sponsored activities and
programs.
9. There is no "de facto" segregation.
10. There are no artificially created barriers or restrictive seniority provisions.
11. Training opportunities are available to minorities and women without restrictions based on race,
color, sex, religion or national origin.
12. Hill advises vendors, suppliers and subcontractors about Hill's plan and of their EEO
responsibilities.
13. Hill prominently displays Equal Employment Opportunity posters in all appropriate places.
14. Hill analyzes employment-related areas and practices, such as selection and compensation and
has determined that no affected class exists.
15. Identification of problem areas are discussed in next section titled Narrative Discussion of Goals.
16.
