Total number of unduplicated clients (Santa Ana and Non -Santa Ana Residents) anticipated to be served by the <br />funded program, named above, during the 12 -month contract period. <br />158 Persons <br />Il. Description of Work - In the space below, describe the program to be funded during the 12 -month contract period. <br />What specific activities will be undertaken during the contract period. Please be concise in your response. Only the <br />viewaoie space will print. <br />Our mission is to help battered women, their families and the community break the cycle of domestic violence. <br />Through this grant, we will provide emergency shelter and bilingual services to 20 victims of domestic violence <br />who are residents of Santa Ana. Each woman will receive: <br />• emergency shelter up to 45 days <br />• individual counseling sessions with a bilingual Master's level staff <br />• group counseling and domestic violence education groups <br />• life skills, nutrition, and parenting classes <br />• case management and social service assistance <br />• transitional and permanent housing placement assistance <br />• job development services <br />• legal advocacy. <br />Each child will receive: <br />• counseling and therapeutic activities <br />• access to public education <br />• tutoring <br />By receiving these services, 20 Santa Ana women and children will move toward independence and self - <br />sufficiency and will be able to experience a safe and violence -free life <br />Schedule of Performance <br />Estimate the number of unduplicated Santa Ana residents to be served by the funded program during the 12 -month <br />contract period per quarter. (Enter number of new Santa Ana clients served each quarter.
