We keep careful, confidential case management files on each client,
including the progress she makes toward markers in her recovery plan, her attendance at meetings and
speaker sessions, and her participation in other program activities and services. Data is compiled
monthly regarding how many women have entered the program, how long they have stayed, and how
many have graduated. We also follow up on clients, either by mail or in person, after they leave the
program to track their progress and invite them to our weekly recovery meetings. The information we
learn about their progress through this follow -up process is also documented in their file. Additionally,
many funders require that we quantify and document our progress toward measurable objectives.
Exhibit A -1
