Activities include creating, <br />pitching and securing 2 -3 stories to print and broadcast press that reach OC readers, listeners <br />and /or viewers <br />Completion Criteria: <br />This task is considered complete upon the completion of the outreach period. Completion <br />coincides with the end of Q4 2011. <br />Task 3: `See Something, Say Something' Marketing Road Map & Materials <br />Objective: <br />Develop ReadyOC -based marketing plan and materials for Orange County based on the <br />Department of Homeland Security's priority national public awareness campaign, "If You See <br />Something, Say Something." The program will be designed to raise public awareness of <br />indicators of terrorism and violent crime in the region, and to emphasize the importance of <br />reporting suspicious activity to the area's proper authorities. <br />Task Description: <br />Develop and secure approval of the plan for all See /Say activities, including the marketing plan <br />and project schedule. Activities include: <br />a. See /Say Planning Meetings — conduct meetings with Santa Ana Project Manager and <br />ROC Steering Committee to outline strategies and recommendations for the ROC <br />See /Say initiative. <br />b. See /Say Marketing Road Map — develop comprehensive marketing communications <br />and promotions plan detailing strategies, objectives, tasks, schedules and metrics for all <br />See /Say activities, ensuring synergy and alignment with broader ROC initiatives and <br />messaging. Actual program implementation will be under separate contract. <br />c. See /Say Materials — develop and complete collateral such as a fact sheet, flyer, display <br />advertising design and other appropriate materials to be ready for distribution under <br />separate contract. <br />Responsibilities: <br />WBC shall: <br />a. Develop the initiative and seek plan approval from the ROC Steering Committee <br />Santa Ana shall: <br />b. Approve plan and collateral materials <br />Completion Criteria: <br />This task is considered complete upon the completion of the proposal.
