AMENDED ORANGE COUNTY FIRE AUTHORITY <br />JOINT POWERS AGREEMENT <br />This amended Agreement is made this 23rd day of September, 1999 by and <br />between the following public entities (collectively, the "members "), BUENA PARK, <br />CYPRESS, DANA POINT, IRVINE, LAGUNA HILLS, LAGUNA NIGUEL, LAKE <br />FOREST, LA PALMA, LOS ALAMITOS, MISSION VIEJO, PLACENTIA, SAN <br />CLEMENTE, SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO, SEAL BEACH, STANTON, TUSTIN, VILLA <br />PARK, WESTMINSTER AND YORBA LINDA (collectively, the "Cities ") and the <br />COUNTY OF ORANGE (the "County "). <br />RECITALS <br />A. County operates the Orange County Fire Department (the "Fire <br />Department "), which presently provides fire protection, prevention and suppression <br />services and related and incidental services to Cities, as well as to the unincorporated <br />area of the County and State areas of responsibility ( "SRA "). <br />B.
