(2) For Buena Park San Clemente and Westminster: <br />(a.) The prior year's charge, exclusive of vehicle <br />replacement/depreciation costs, shall be adjusted by an amount which represents the <br />percentage change in the cost of fire system operations as set forth in 3. B. above. <br />(b.) Any difference between that amount and the amount <br />of increase allowable under the applicable cap shall then be applied to the City's <br />financial obligation under the Authority's facilities maintenance program. <br />(c.) Any difference between the sum of those two <br />amounts and the amount allowable under the applicable cap shall next be applied to the <br />City's financial obligation under the Authority's equipment replacement/depreciation <br />program. <br />(d.) Effective July 1, 2000, said cities shall continue to <br />participate in the Authority's vehicle replacement/depreciation program on the terms and <br />conditions in effect June 30, 2000; provided however, that the amount of any <br />subsequent adjustment to an immediately preceding year's vehicle <br />replacement/depreciation charge, when added to the adjustments set forth in a., b. and <br />c. above, shall not exceed the applicable cap on the total charges for the preceding <br />year. <br />4509 -08 2 0 <br />110179 v3 <br />9/27/99 <br />60C -27 <br />
