+PUBLIC NOTICE <br />NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING TO BE HELD BY THE <br />CITY OF SANTA ANA COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT & HOUSING COMMISSION <br />ON THE PROPOSED SUBMISSION OF THE 2012-2013 ACTION PLAN AND <br />SUBSTANTIAL AMENDMENT TO THE 2011-2012 ACTION PLAN, <br />COMMENCEMENT OF THE 30-DAY PUBLIC COMMENT PERIOD, <br />AND UTILIZATION OF THE 80% <br />HOUSEHOLD MEDIAN INCOME STANDARDS <br />NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Community Redevelopment and Housing Commission of the City of Santa Ana <br />will hold a public hearing on April 17, 2012, at 6:00 p.m., at the City Council Chambers, 22 Civic Center Plaza, Santa <br />Ana, California 92701, pursuant to the submission of the City's proposed 2012-2013 Annual Action Plan and <br />Substantial Amendment to the 2011-2012 Action Plan. <br />The 2012-2013 Action Plan and the Substantial Amendment to the 2011-2012 Action Plan is prepared in compliance <br />with federal regulations [24 CFR 91 ]. The Action Plan and Substantial Amendment delineates proposed activities to <br />be funded under the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development's (HUD) Community Development Block <br />Grant (CDBG), HOME Investment Partnerships Act (HOME), American Dream Down Payment Initiative (ADDI), <br />Emergency Shelter Grant (ESG), and Housing Opportunities for Persons with AIDS (HOPWA). Additions or <br />reductions in funding for activities will be based on allowable uses of funds per respective federal regulations and <br />amount awarded. The approximate amount of funding the city anticipates it will receive for FY 2012-2013 is as <br />follows: <br />CDBG HOME ESG HOPWA <br />$5,680,480 $1,228,217 $538,354 $1,548,618 <br />In addition to these resources, the City will utilize program income received in prior years and during the 2012-2013 <br />Fiscal Year.
