Responsibility for and purchase of necessary materials shall be at <br />contractor's expense. <br />Note: The City has the right to move brickdust and <br />Turface materials to other infields under this <br />agreement should they decide that an infield or <br />infields do not require additional materials a <br />particular year. <br />11.0 Work To Be Completed "AS DIRECTED" <br />11.1 Replace Base ANCHORS as directed. <br />Note: City of Santa Ana use's the Roger's Breakaway <br />base anchoring system. Contractor shall install <br />base anchors into the ground per manufacturer's <br />standards. Top of stake shall be approximately <br />2" below the surface grade so that the base sits <br />level and flush against the surface on all sides. <br />11.2 Replace Bases as directed. <br />Note: City of Santa Ana shall be responsible for <br />supplying all necessary base anchors and/or <br />bases to the contractor as needed. <br />11.3 Replace or Remove/Level/Re-Install home plates as directed. <br />11.4 Replace or Remove/Level/Re-Install pitching rubbers as directed. <br />Note: City of Santa Ana shall be responsible for <br />supplying all necessary home plates and/or <br />pitching rubbers to the contractor as needed. <br />11.5 When given direction to complete "as directed" work, contractor shall complete <br />the directed work on the next working day. <br />12.0 Infield Turf Maintenance <br />12.1 Infield turf shall mean all sport turf in the infield, the foul territory of the infield <br />and 36" beyond the infield brickdust skin line/arc. Infield turf shall be mowed <br />two (2) times per week on Monday and Friday. <br />12.1.1 <br />Contractor shall use a "greens" reel mower to provide "putting <br />green" quality finish cut. <br />12.1.2 <br />Infield turf shall be cut between ''/2" and 1/4" per staffs direction. <br />12.1.3 <br />All turf clippings shall be collected and disposed of. <br />12.1.4 <br />Edging of infield are shall be performed by infield sub. <br />37 <br />
