To ensure timely and accurate reporting of events, a comprehensive <br />Statistical and Activity Report will be provided to the Jail Administrator <br />and/or designee on a monthly basis. This report will include, but not be <br />limited to, statistical workload data on: <br />? Sick call visits <br />? Health appraisals <br />? Dental visits <br /> Mental health clinics <br />? Laboratory services <br />? Prescribed medications <br />? Medical diets <br />D Additional services <br />R. QUALITY ASSURANCE PROGRAMS <br />Within CMCMC, quality assurance and utilization management are <br />viewed as codependent activities that are driven by the same purpose. <br />This purpose being to provide a systematic vehicle for the review, <br />evaluation, remediation, and monitoring of medically necessary care in a <br />way that provides all inmates with equal access to cost effective medical <br />care, that meet or exceed, community standards. <br />Quality Assurance (QA) mechanisms shall encompass all aspects of <br />medical care including, but not limited to, diagnostic studies, treatment <br />modalities, appropriate health resource utilization, medical record <br />accuracy and confidentiality, and an assessment of the patient's perception <br />of quality of care. <br />The QA Committee will be responsible for developing and implementing <br />QA mechanisms.
