The inmate will then sign the Informed <br />Consent Form, acknowledging an understanding of this information. <br />Psychotropic medications will be ordered for no more than 30 days <br />without a face-to-face evaluation by the psychiatrist. <br />L. DETOXIFICATION <br />CMCMC will be responsible for the proper disposition and care of <br />inmates undergoing detoxification from drugs and/or alcohol. Inmates <br />will be individually evaluated as to the need for medically supported <br />detoxification treatment during the receiving screening process. <br />The medical staff will evaluate all inmates upon admission into and, when <br />notified, prior to leaving the detoxification cell. Once admitted to the <br />detoxification cell, a nurse will check on the inmate at a minimum of once <br />every six (6) hours. <br />himates, who, according to existing standardized procedures, appear to <br />need acute medical attention will be transferred to an appropriate setting <br />for treatment. <br />M.
