Sec. 14 -36. Hazardous Materials — General Provisions (Chapter 50). <br />(a) Section 5001 .5.2 Hazardous Materials Inventory Statement (HMIS), is hereby <br />amended by modifying the starting paragraph as follows: <br />5001.5.2 Hazardous Materials Inventory Statement (HMIS). Where required <br />by the fire code official, an <br />Fire Authority's Chemical C <br />approved prior to approval <br />chemicals on the premises. <br />following information: <br />1. Amount in use -open systems. <br />(b) Table 5003.1.1(1) Maximum Allowable Quantity per Control Area of Hazardous <br />Materials Posing a Physical Hazard is hereby amended by deleting Footnote K <br />without replacement as follows: <br />(c) Section 5003.1.1.1 Extremely Hazardous Substances is hereby added as follows: <br />5003.1.1.1 Extremely Hazardous Substances. No person shall use or store <br />any amount of extremely hazardous substances (EHS) in excess of the <br />disclosable amounts (see Health and Safety Code Section 25500 et al) in a <br />residential zoned or any residentially developed property. <br />(d) Section 5003.5 Hazard identification signs is hereby amended by modifying the <br />NFPA standard as follows: <br />5003.5 Hazard identification signs. Unless otherwise exempted by the fire <br />code official, visible hazard identification signs as specified in the Orange County <br />Fire Authority Signage Guidelines for the specific material contained shall be <br />placed on stationary containers and above - ground tanks and at entrances to <br />locations where hazardous materials are stored, dispensed, used or handled in <br />Ordinance No. NS -2851 <br />Page 55 of 67 <br />
