y <br />�yk <br />Orange County Children's Therapeutic ARTS <br />tl_ Center <br />:4 <br />2215 N Broadway • Santa And, CA 92706 • 714.547.5468 • Fax 714.564.9690 • www.occtoc.org <br />501 (c)3 Federal Tax ID# 33-0930891 <br />Work Based Learning Policy <br />WIA Program 2014 — 2015 <br />Purpose: To establish guidelines for the youth's paid work experience placements while <br />enrolled in CCCTAC's Workforce Investment ACT (WIA) program <br />Procedures: <br />Stipend Period: <br />Four Stipend Periods — First 80 hours of participant <br />Most youth are able to complete their first 80 hours participants in <br />about 2 months. During the first 2 months of participation, all youth <br />will be required to attend regularly for about 10 to 20 hours a week. <br />For their consistent participation youth will receive $150.00 stipend <br />after they complete the first 20 hours. Youth will receive 3 more <br />stipends, each of $150.00, upon completion of their 2"d 3`d, and 4th <br />set of 20 hours, for a total of 80 hours. <br />The stipend hours will be accomplished through different venues: <br />case Management meetings, workshops, educational counseling <br />services, work experience placement, job skills training, weekly <br />tutoring, etc. <br />Hourly Rate: <br />Once Youth completed the four Stipend Periods <br />Immediately after the completion of the first 100 hours of <br />participation, those youth that have shown consistency will be <br />encouraged to work between 10 to 20 hours per week until there job <br />training period is complete. These youth will be paid $8.00 per hours <br />EXHIBIT A <br />
