WIA 2014 — 2015 Grant <br />OCCTAC—Budget Narrative <br />Carrier Counselor—.63% PTE for 11 months: $19,800.00 (Benefits Included) <br />25 hours a week for 11 months@$16.00 per hour: <br />The respective position will be responsible for providing educational and career training to all <br />WIA participants; mentoring and assisting with related work experience placement; observing and <br />monitoring participants with technical/artistic skills; documenting progress throughout the program; <br />meeting regularly & individually with WIA participants to train on related curriculum; and attending <br />regular team meetings. <br />Stipends and Wages for 27 Participants 574,160.00 <br />Training Stipends (in school — out of school youth) — 27 participants <br />First 20 hours: participants given $150.00 stipend to participate in program <br />Second 20 hours: participants given $150.00 stipend to participate in program <br />Third 20 hours: participants given $150.00 stipend to participate in program <br />Forth 20 hours: participants given $150.00 stipend to participate in program <br />Afterstipends completion Months 3 —11: participants paid $9.00 per hour for Work based learning (10 <br />15 hours, a wk.) <br />Supportive Service $13.550.00 <br />Buss Pass/Gas Voucher: As needed for 27 participants $7,210.00 <br />15 bus passes @65.55each for 5 months 4,960.00 <br />5 gas cards @$50. Each every month $2,250.00 <br />Funds are allocated for youth who are in need of transportation related support <br />Food Bank: As needed for 27 — participants $2,000.00 <br />$200 per month will be spent to distribute food to 27 participants once a month. <br />Work Related supplies: As needed for 27 participants $750.00 <br />Work related and Skills building tools, book, academic Supplied, portfolios. Items needed forjob <br />interviews. <br />Program Incentives $ 1,050.00 <br />$50 incentive for every two modules or classes completed leading to a High School Diploma <br />3 Youth x 7 (14 modules) = 21 x $50 = $ 1,050.00 <br />Academic Support: As needed for 27 — participants $2,000.00 <br />Tuition Support for certificates or other related academic programs for 27 participants; books <br />for related course work, tutoring supplies, and college field trips. <br />Fingerprinting/TB Test; As needed for 27 participants $540.00 <br />27 fingerprinting @$10 each $270.00 and 27 TB test @$10 each $270.00 <br />Funds allocated for Dept. of Justice Clearance & TB test for employment. <br />EX111BIT G <br />
