F. LEVERAGING RESOURCES <br />1. OTHER PUBLIC & PRIVATE RESOURCES OBTAINED TO ADDRESS NEEDS IN THE PLAN <br />During the report period, the City of Santa Ana leveraged federal funds with various private and <br />public resources. These resources included the following: <br />TABLE 10 - 2013 -2014 LEVERAGING SOURCES <br />Redevelopment Housing Set -Aside $0 $0 <br />Private Funds $0 $756,863' <br />TOTAL $0:_. $756,863 <br />1. Private represent the total " valuation" of property improvements undertaken because of Code Enforcement efforts. <br />2. LEVERAGING OF FEDERAL RESOURCES WITH OTHER PUBLIC & PRIVATE RESOURCES <br />As demonstrated by Table 10, HUD funding for Santa Ana resulted in the investment of other <br />private and public resources. These resources were made available to the City to assist with the <br />implementation of activities to meet priority needs. <br />3. MATCHING REQUIREMENTS <br />There is no match requirement forthe CDBG Or HOPWA program. HOME requires a 25% match for <br />every dollar spent and ESG requires a dollar for dollar match.
