(a) From inside. a vehicle, including <br />trailers; or from an exterior <br />storage container or box, except <br />when: <br />(1) securely locked, <br />(2) there is visible evidence that <br />entry into the vehicle was <br />forced, and <br />(3) inside a vehicle or trailer, that <br />its windows were fully closed; <br />or <br />(b) While items are placed on the <br />exterior of an unattended vehicle <br />(including trailers) unless the <br />item: <br />(1) was secured, <br />(2) was protected by privacy <br />locks and <br />(3) there is visible evidence that <br />removal was accomplished by <br />force. <br />(3) This Extension does not apply to the <br />following property: <br />(a) Shipments that belong to others <br />that you are transporting for a fee; <br />(b) Property while waterborne; <br />(c) Live animals; or <br />(d) Salespersons samples <br />(4) Exclusions B.1.b., and B.1.g. do not <br />apply to this Coverage Extension. <br />(5) The most we will pay for loss or <br />damage under this Extension is <br />$5,000. <br />). Inventory and Loss Appraisal <br />(1) We will pay for all reasonable <br />expenses you incur at our request to <br />assist us in: <br />(a) The investigation of a claim; <br />(b) The determination of the amount of <br />loss, such as taking Inventory; or <br />(c) The cost of preparing specific loss <br />documents and other supporting <br />exhibits. <br />(2) The most we will pay for expenses <br />under this Extension Is $10,000. <br />(3) The Deductible does not apply to <br />these expenses. <br />(4) Special Inventory and Loss Appraisal <br />Exclusion <br />We will not pay for: <br />(a) Expenses incurred. to perform your <br />ri,e <br />Hanover <br />Insurance Group. <br />OB39898816 1001051 <br />duties in the event of a loss under <br />Section I - E. Property Loss <br />Conditions; <br />(b) Expenses to prove that loss or <br />damage is covered; <br />(c) Expenses billed by and payable to <br />independent or public adjusters; <br />attorneys; or any of their affiliated <br />or associated entities; <br />(d) Expenses to prepare claims not <br />covered by this Coverage Form; or <br />(e) Expenses incurred under any <br />appraisal provisions within the <br />policy. <br />B. Exclusions <br />1. We will not pay for loss or damage caused <br />directly or indirectly by any of the following. <br />Such loss or damage is excluded regardless <br />of any other cause or event that contributes <br />concurrently or In any sequence to the loss. <br />These exclusions apply whether or not the <br />loss event results in widespread damage or <br />affects a substantial area. <br />a. Ordinance Or Law <br />(1) The enforcement of any ordinance or <br />law: <br />(a) Regulating the construction, use or <br />repair of any property; or <br />(b) Requiring the tearing down of any <br />property, including the cost of <br />removing its debris. <br />(2) This exclusion, Ordinance Or Law, <br />applies whether the loss results from: <br />(a) An ordinance or law that is <br />enforced even if the property has <br />not been damaged; or <br />(b) The increased costs incurred to <br />comply with an ordinance or law in <br />the course of construction, repair, <br />renovation, remodeling or <br />demolition of property or removal of <br />its debris, following a physical loss <br />to that property. <br />This exclusion does not apply to the <br />Ordinance or Law Additional <br />Coverage. <br />b.
