Goal is to aid <br />enrolled youth with their successful completion of OCCTAC's WIA program. <br />Procedures: <br />Stipends Period (All Enrolled Youth): <br />Youth will receive 4 stipends, each of $150.00, upon successful completion of <br />first 80 hours of program participation. Please refer to "Work Based Learning <br />Policy 2014 — 2015" for additional information on stipend period. <br />20 hours <br />$149.50 <br />20 hours <br />$149.50 <br />20 hours <br />$149.50 <br />20 hours <br />$149.50 <br />TOTAL: 80 hours <br />TOTAL: $598 <br />HS Dropouts: <br />Individuals who are HS dropouts at time of enrollment will be encouraged to <br />attain a HS diploma or GED during our program or follow up. Those who enroll <br />into an institution yielding to a HS diploma or GED will be eligible to receive a <br />$50.00 gift card for every two (2) subjects they complete while enrolled in all <br />phases of the WIA program. Doing so will encourage these WIA participants to <br />commit to their educational goal and thus attain a secondary credential within a <br />reasonable amount of time. Case Manager, educational counselor and school <br />representatives will communicate regularly to insure that students enrolled into <br />their institution commit to their schedule to complete missing credits on a timely <br />manner. <br />Individuals who are HS dropouts at time of enrollment will be encouraged to <br />pass cahsee in order to obtain high school diploma. Youth who pass the exam <br />during their time in the program or follow up are eligible for $50 for each section <br />max of $100. <br />0:4au31Ira <br />
