• , <br />Supportive Services Policies and Procedures <br />Purpose <br />To establish guidelines for supportive services to participants those indentified in need and are <br />pursuing training. The objective is to grant youth access to higher education and prosperous <br />employment seeking to successfully complete the Seeds to Trees Academy: Digital Media and <br />Information Technology Institute WIOA youth program. <br />Procedures <br />Eligibility: <br />Supportive services will be available to assist approved WIOA participants. Participants that <br />have limited resources based on their income and express the need of additional support to Case <br />Manager will receive such services. <br />Availability of funds and Assessment: <br />Once the WIOA funds are available, case manager will distribute support services accordingly <br />on a first come, first basis to eligible participants. <br />Case Manager will determine support services through an assessment and will develop a service <br />plan with participant. Support services will be case noted and a binder with logs of services will <br />be kept and updated on a regular basis. <br />Transportation Assistance <br />Transportation assistance will be available to all WIOA participants. The City of Santa Ana <br />Commuter Services Program will allow youth hired from the WIOA grant to be eligible to <br />participate in the Blue Skies Commuter Service program that offers the following services: <br />EXHIBIT A <br />
