Bus /Purchase: <br />City employees who ride the bus a minimum of 12 times per month are eligible to receive a $45 <br />per month incentive. Bus passes may be purchased at City Hall or at public pass sales locations. <br />If employee loses her /his bus pass, no replacement will be provided. <br />Bicycling or Walking: <br />Employees bicycling to work on a regular basis qualify for incentives ranging from $20 to $45 <br />per month. The Commuter Services Program provides pedestrians with safety information and <br />can assist in forming walking groups. Employees walking to work on a regular basis qualify for <br />incentives ranging from $20 to $45 per month. <br />Participants that express a need of transportation will also be transported to and from all course <br />instruction locations, including off -site workshops. <br />Professional Clothing Assistance <br />Participants will receive a referral to Women Helping Women or Men 2 Work. The organization <br />will provide professional attire for individuals who are actively job searching. <br />Books <br />Participants will be provided assistance with purchasing of College text books. <br />Portfolios <br />Participants will be required to create a professional portfolio of all related work that is <br />completed during the program in the areas of clerical skills, graphic and website design, video <br />production and marketing. <br />Background Check - LiveScan <br />Participants who are 18 years and older will be required to undergo a background check by <br />administrating a LiveScan through the Department of Justice.
