The goals <br />and scope described in subsequent chapters have been derived from a variety of <br />different sources, namely: <br />1. The scope of work described in RFP 15 -105 <br />2. Enterprise Automation's previous experience working with the City's water <br />team <br />3. Enterprise Automation's application of industry best practices as they apply to <br />the Walnut Pump station upgrade <br />This scope of work expands on the requirements of RFP 15 -015, describing the <br />specific activities and work flow that Enterprise Automation will use to perform the <br />project, and clarifies a number of ambiguities in the RFP documents. <br />Any additional work not requested in the RFP scope that EA believes is necessary and <br />has been included will be noted. <br />Any exceptions or clarifications to the RFP scope will be noted. <br />Project Goals <br />The primary project goals are to: <br />1. Act as the owners' Engineer for the automation related elements of the Walnut <br />Pump Station Upgrade as defined by the RFP <br />2. Develop recommendations for City consideration for the Walnut Pump Station <br />Upgrade, both control equipment and operational related <br />3. Develop standards for the use by the Walnut Pump Station Upgrade PCS <br />Integrator and all future City automation upgrades <br />4. Ensure that the Walnut Pump Station Upgrade PCS Integrator is held <br />accountable to: <br />a. The control narrative developed for the facility <br />b. The standards developed for the PLC and HMI <br />c. The FAT protocols developed for the facility <br />d. The SAT protocols developed for the facility <br />5.
