Maximize client engagement at all necessary levels (operations, maintenance, and management) to ensure that the project deliverables meet the needs of user base 2. Coordinate directly with the PCS Integrator and General Contractor to ensure that all project standards and test methods are implemented 3. Specify and test everything, where possible and practical, prior to site deployment to reduce the probability of rework being necessary in the field This section outlines the scope of work in the same order as presented in the RPP and EA's cost proposal. The sub - sections presented here generally follow the chronological order of the project. 4.1 Initiation and Management EA will provide a project manager who will be the main point of contact for the City. This will help ensure accurate and effective communications and decisions. The PM will perform all commercial, budget, and project tracking related updates through the life of the project. The labor estimate for project management is the initiation phase plus a fixed percentage of all other engineering hours (as shown in the estimate). Key Project Management Activities are: 1. Point of contact 2. Project scheduling 3. Project status tracking (daily /weekly) 4. Project status communication to the City 5, Project Invoices and tracking report (monthly) 6. Project coordination 4.1.1 Kick -off meeting EA will prepare for and attend a half day kick -off meeting with City staff. As a minimum, the project manager and the project's lead engineer will be in attendance.
