GREAT WESTERN RECLAMATION <br /> JOB DESCRIPTION <br /> POSITION: Office Manager <br /> REPORTS TO: Vice President/Controller <br /> MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: <br /> • Contact person with Region Accounting Center <br /> • Management of office personnel within the Accounting Department <br /> • Manage System Department to ensure correct billing through data entry and batch <br /> controls. <br /> • Recruit and screen qualified applicants for all office positions. <br /> • Assist in the development and communication of personnel and company policies. <br /> • Ensure all new and existing office employees have proper training to be successful <br /> in their assigned position. <br /> • Budget Control relating to billing, collections, and computer systems. <br /> • Handle all collection procedures. <br /> • Reconcile various accounts on a monthly basis, Recycling, COD, Disposal Report, <br /> Tustin Report. <br /> • Ensure all customer.adjustments have proper approval. <br /> • Handle all customer requiring a supervisor relating to their billing. <br /> • Performs other tasks that may be assigned. <br /> WORK EXPERIENCE AND/OR EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS: <br /> • Budget Management for the office. <br /> • Restructure and redefine the job assignments for the office staff. <br /> • Improve customer service and communication through monthly staff meetings. <br /> • Hold a telephone etiquette class with Dewey's and Great Western Reclamation. <br /> • Special Projects <br /> • Attend a management seminar every 3 months. <br /> • Work with RAC to finalize changes and complete training. <br /> • Improve overall management skills by utilizing "Coaching and Counseling" section <br /> of the Directory of Performance Improvement (document progress). <br />
