SANTA ANA MRF <br /> JOB DESCRIPTION <br /> POSITION/TITLE: Project Manager <br /> REPORTS TO: Division President <br /> DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: <br /> • Develops the Project Concept; objectives, justification/financial proforma, <br /> scope/design requirements, permitting/environmental requirements, estimated total <br /> project cost, master project schedule. <br /> • Prepare the project implementation plan. <br /> • Prepares project PER's; ensures appropriate approvals are obtained before work <br /> begins. <br /> • Conducts periodic project review meetings with the project team members. <br /> Establishes meeting agenda; prepares and distributes meeting minutes. <br /> • Coordinates activities of the in-house project team (e.g., EMD, Marketing, <br /> • Operations, Maintenance, Health and Safety, R&D). <br /> • Establishes project cost accounts with Project Controller. <br /> • Identifies and prequalifies suppliers (consultants, contractors, vendors). <br /> • Develops bidding documents; obtains bids from potential suppliers. <br /> • Reviews bids and prepares bid evaluation (s) for Project Sponsors approval. <br /> • Develops proposed procurement agreements and change orders; obtains <br /> appropriate approvals (e.g., Legal, Project Sponsors). <br /> • Acts as principal point of contract for suppliers. <br /> • Acts as principal point of contact for suppliers. <br /> • Verifies all project work is in accordance with the project concept. <br /> • Reviews supplier invoice to ensure appropriate payment for actual work <br /> accomplished. Assigns unspecified costs to proper project accounts. <br /> • Monitors and updates project budget and schedule. <br /> • Establishes and maintains primary project files. <br /> • Prepares periodic project reports and reviews project with management. <br /> • Ensures project is accepted and close-out activities are completed. Prepares the <br /> Project Completion Report. <br />
