SANTA ANA MRF <br /> JOB DESCRIPTION <br /> POSITION/TITLE: Baler Operator <br /> REPORTS TO: Materials Processing Supervisor <br /> DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: <br /> ■ Responsible for efficient baling of clean marketable materials. <br /> • Responsible that all bales are free of contaminants. <br /> • Ability to program baler to process different commodities. <br /> • Ability to store baled commodities in designated areas, segregated between buy- <br /> back materials, curbside collected materials and commercially collected materials. <br /> • Sort, as needed, all conveyor fed materials to eliminate contamination. <br /> • Work in safe manner. <br /> • Assist others as directed by Supervisor. <br /> • Keep equipment and work area in a clean condition. <br /> • Ability to operate a forklift and small loader/tractor. <br /> WORK EXPERIENCE AND/OR EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS: <br /> • High School Diploma desirable <br /> • Ability to work well with fellow employees. <br /> • Knowledge of Company policies and work rules. <br /> • Good physical condition and the ability to pass a physical examination and drug <br /> test. <br /> • Ability to lift 60 pounds and move containers weighing several hundred pounds. <br /> • Minimum 6 months experience as a Processor I or II. <br /> ■ Ability to operate a forklift and small loader/tractor. <br />
