SANTA ANA MRF <br /> JOB DESCRIPTION <br /> POSITION/TITLE: Processor I <br /> REPORTS TO: Materials Processing Supervisor <br /> DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: <br /> • Sorting of collected recyclable materials. <br /> • Assist Baler Operator and Yard Driver for proper sorting needs. <br /> • Remove trash (unsalvageable) materials from recyclable materials. <br /> • Sort recovered newspaper, cardboard, glass (by color), plastics, aluminum and <br /> metal containers to attain highest value through Company marketing efforts. <br /> • Advise Supervisor of machinery and tools which need repair or regular <br /> maintenance. <br /> • Work in safe manner. <br /> • Assist others as directed by Supervisor. <br /> • Keep equipment in a clean condition. <br /> • Clean up general area regularly. <br /> WORK EXPERIENCE AND/OR EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS: <br /> • High School Diploma <br /> • Ability to work well with fellow employees. <br /> • Knowledge of Company policies and work rules. <br /> • Good physical condition and the ability to pass a physical examination and drug <br /> test. <br /> • Ability to lift 60 pounds and move containers weighing several hundred pounds. <br />
