SANTA ANA MRF <br /> JOB DESCRIPTION <br /> POSITION/TITLE: Yard Driver <br /> REPORTS TO: Materials Processing Supervisor <br /> DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: <br /> • Provide a smooth transition between recycling collection vehicles and the <br /> processing operation. <br /> • Ability to move roll-off boxes of materials from sort-line operations and the <br /> recycling ramp area. <br /> • Exchange bins as needed at the sort-line to maintain continued operations. <br /> • Load vans/trucks trailers with baled commodities for shipment as directed. <br /> • Directly responsible for proper loading of containers as stated on delivery orders. <br /> • Work in a safe manner. <br /> • Organize full roll-off boxes by commodity for easy unloading when Baler Operator <br /> need a particular material. <br /> • Keep an inventory of all commodities - processed and unprocessed. <br /> • Buy-back center operations as directed. <br /> WORK EXPERIENCE AND/OR EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS: <br /> • High School Diploma desirable. <br /> ■ Ability to work well with fellow employees. <br /> • Knowledge of Company policies and work rules. <br /> ■ Good physical condition and the ability to pass a physical examination and drug <br /> test. <br /> • Ability to lift 60 pounds and move containers weighing several hundred pounds. <br /> • Minimum 6 months experience as a Processor I or II. <br /> • Ability to operate a forklift and small loader/tractor. <br /> • Minimum California Class B Driver's License. <br />
