Progress Reports <br /> • Develop quarterly and annual reports to the City providing <br /> comparative analysis of recycling and recovery efforts. <br /> • Review and report on the success of public education <br /> programs. <br /> • Organize publicity for programs and interaction with the <br /> media. <br /> • Report on basic service programs requested by the City such <br /> as residential and commercial bin required service levels. The <br /> reports may be separated by basic service, and recycling and <br /> recovery if desired by the City. <br /> • Information about waste reduction, material recovery and <br /> diversion will be provided not only in table format, but also in <br /> simplified visual graphics such as pie charts comparing waste <br /> reduction and recovery to previous quarters and years so that <br /> it can be easily used for council updates, community <br /> presentations and incorporated into other City reports. <br /> Newsletter <br /> • Develop quarterly bilingual newsletter to customers describing <br /> the City's progress in recycling and diversion, providing <br /> helpful tips, highlighting special events. <br /> Hotline <br /> • Continue the successful bilingual Santa Ana Recycling Hotline, <br /> and enhance this effort through additional information on the <br /> City's recycling goals and efforts to meet state requirements. <br /> 71 <br />
