OPERATION/TRAINING FORMAT FOR NEW DRIVERS <br /> DAY ONE - OPS/PERSONNEL <br /> 1. Operations Manager/Supervisor informs employee of orientation schedule and <br /> what will take place in the next four to five days. <br /> 2. Day One will consist of: <br /> a) Employee reports to operations for start of new employee <br /> training/orientation <br /> b) Employee views Video of"Waste Management Today" and "Driven by Pride" <br /> c) Operations Manager explains policies and procedures <br /> d) Operations Manager discusses scope of business, routes, landfill, etc. <br /> e) Personnel File/Employee Benefit Packet and operations forms are issued <br /> and Supervisor reviews forms with employee (See Attachment #1) <br /> f) Employee completes forms and written tests are reviewed and documented <br /> by Supervisor <br /> g) Employee reports to Personnel Clerk for Explanation of Benefits and Union <br /> Procedure <br /> h) Completed forms are viewed by Personnel Clerk and a Personnel File <br /> Established <br /> New Hire Operations/Personnel Requirements completed <br /> Operations Manager/Supervisor Personnel Clerk <br /> Employee <br />
