We know Santa Ma <br /> We have been located in Santa Ana for the 30 years we have serviced the City. <br /> Over half of our 120 employees also live in the City. We understand the needs of <br /> the City and our customers. <br /> For example, Great Western understands and has accommodated the <br /> changing demographic patterns in Santa Ana. Populations have shifted and, in <br /> some places, become significantly more dense. In cooperation with the City, Great <br /> Western has responded to these changes. While in many cities waste collection <br /> is restricted to a few garbage cans, or even one specialized can per unit, Great <br /> Western provides unlimited waste pick-up. <br /> We know the clean-up drill <br /> Great Western has experience participating in Santa Ana clean-ups. In concert <br /> with the City,we have organized the annual Citywide clean-ups, which are all-day <br /> events allowing residents to drop off their larger waste items locally. Great <br /> Western provides equipment and employee assistance at 6 parks located <br /> throughout Santa Ana. <br /> We make this event inclusive so that everybody has an opportunity to <br /> participate. For those residents who have special needs such as senior citizens <br /> or the disabled, our employees will provide individualized service, going to their <br /> home and removing the bulky items for them. <br /> In addition, Great Western works with the City to provide smaller neighborhood <br /> clean-ups. Having been a part of many such clean-ups in the past, we can <br /> provide needed bins and employee assistance without additional organizational <br /> effort by the City. <br /> We lead the class in education <br /> Great Western has initiated an educational program on recycling in Santa Ana. <br /> Our robot "Cycler", who is made up of recyclable materials, has already been on <br /> tour at the Santa Ana zoo and at public and private schools, to teach children <br /> 4 <br />
