every October. Artists meet and network, community gets motivated to do great creative <br />positive things and kids become inspired to become future artists. Its a satisfaction to <br />see a parent with their child doing a craft, or an elderly couple dancing in the crowd. <br />To see the art community working to offer this knowledge and services during this event <br />is truly inspiring and the continuous heart beat of our culture. This event would not be <br />possible without the Grant for Investing in the Artists of Santa Ana. Nevertheless, with <br />the help of social media and a promotional video we will have a larger public response <br />and participation, as well as sponsors for upcoming years of this magnificent event. <br />Supplemental Question 1:Please describe any additional City of Santa Ana <br />resources required for your project (permits, public space, licenses etc.)?: <br />4th Street Plaza reservation permit <br />& Liability insurance for Community Event <br />Supplemental Question 2: Is this a new or existing program/project?: <br />This is an Existing program. <br />Last October 2016 was the first Art & Culture Festival in Santa Ana. <br />Supplemental Question 3: How will the proposed project be presented or shared <br />with the public? Will the art display, event or performance be free and accessible <br />to the public?: <br />It is a free community event, including workshops and entertainment. <br />Event is promoted to the public through out Santa Ana and Orange County. <br />Supplemental Question 4: How will this project enrich the Santa Ana arts and <br />culture community?: <br />This project enriches the community by getting artists to share their ideas and skills <br />directly with the community thru gratuitous workshops and demonstrations. Families <br />together, and people of all ages, can learn and enjoy the cultural performances, art and <br />craft making at this event. Artists and community members engage directly, network <br />and continue to build up in spaces like these. <br />
