be a great way to engage youth from all over Santa Ana and provides them with a kinesthetic, <br />artistic, creative way to voice their unique neighborhoods and cultures. This will be an enriching <br />opportunity for the Santa Ana Arts community as it helps create a Santa Ana youth led public art <br />display. <br />The living art reveals the aesthetic value and beauty of art grown and gathered from the <br />neighborhood and turned into art. It is art that continues to grow and rooted in the community at <br />the same time and nurtured and then blossoms to unveil messages to live healthy which is a <br />strategic goal of the City. These traditional ways harken to indigenous cultural customs from <br />around the world. Connecting with the earth facilitates connection with one's roots. One <br />practices the art of living by creating living art installations. <br />Our project will have city residents stop and appreciate the roses in concrete in our city. <br />Our mural can travel and be exhibited and can be used to promote the arts to the <br />neighborhoods and involve them. More important, we are making a statement of change and <br />transformation. Often, we focus on the violence or crimes in our city. We ignore the good things <br />that goes unrecognized. The project is a creative act declaring that Art cares, Art is revolution, <br />Art is culture, and Art is healing. <br />
