Located on the south side of North Riverside Drive, the building is a one- to two-story, single-family residence constructed in the English Revival style. Generally rectangular in plan, the building appears to have originally had a steep -pitch cross gable roof with a portion in the center that is relatively flat with dormers. An addition constructed in 1988 introduced a second story side -gable roof form to the exising building near the center of the east elevation. The roof is characterized by boxed eaves, and is clad in contemporary asphalt shingle roofing. The exterior is clad in stucco throughout, with half-timbering in the gable ends, and brick quoining at the front entry and picture window. The entry door could not be observed at the time of evaluation as it was open, and located behind a screen door. The majority of original windows appear to have been replaced, and now mainly consist of four -over -four double -hung wood clad windows set in contemporary frames. A grouping of three multi -light casement windows and a large pointed picture window at the north elevation appear to be original. A detached garage is located at the southeast corner of the parcel, has a moderate -pitch front gable roof form, and is accessible via a poured concrete driveway. There is also a swimming pool and spa to the south of the residence. The rectangular parcel is landscaped with lawn, a poured concrete and brick pathway, raised brick patio at the entry, two cypress trees, and various low vegetation at the front setback. The buildings and overall property are in good condition.
