Also address integrity)
The Davis -Schneider House was constructed in the English Revival style, and despite subsequent alterations and
replacement of some original materials, the building appears eligible for listing in the Santa Ana Register under local Criterion
1. Furthermore, although associated with a famous person, Samuel M. Davis did not live at the house during his tenure as
the Orange County District Attorney, and is likely more associated with the house at 1225 French Street in Santa Ana, which
he built in 1910, during his last year as the District Attorney. Mr. Davis was also a founding member of the Orange County
Historical Society. Mr. and Mrs. Robert Schneider resided from 1998 to present. Mr. Schneider was a photographer and
videographer for the NASA space shuttle program.
(See Continuation Sheet 3 of 4.)
B11.
