Sewer Rehabilitation and Reconstruction Study <br />CITY OF COMPTON I COMPTON, CA <br />Project Saginaw, Work consisted of hydraulic and physical evaluations of the City's major sewers (approximately 46,000 <br />feet of 8- to 12•inch pipe), The objective was to evaluate segments for replacement, repair, or rehabilitation (lining). Sewer <br />CCTV data was reviewed, and Interviews were conducted with operations slid maintenance personnel, Spreadsheets were <br />developed to prioritize the improvements for a multiyear program. Finally, opinions of probable costs were provided, and <br />the work was presented in a Project Study Report. <br />Wastewater Collection Systeim Upgrade Program <br />CITY OF TORRANCE I TORRANCE, CA <br />Project Manager. Work consisted of the completion of several projects to upgrade the City's sewer system, The program <br />included sewer rehabilitation initiated by a system -wide video program, preparation of sewer replacement and extension <br />designs, and development of a concept design for alley sewers. I FILLMORE, CA <br />Project Englnoot, Mc McKinley was responsible for the conceptual design of new sewer Interceptors' to route all flow to a <br />new wastewatar traatrnentplantsite, Amcolatod diversion' facilities and roadway infrastructure for the new alignment were <br />also designed as part of this project, <br />Mentone Boulevard Sewer <br />j CITY OF REDLANDS I REDLANDS, CA <br />Project Manager. As project manager, Mr, McKinley lead the planning and design of a sewer extension on Mentone <br />Boulevard (SR-34), which is a major access route to Arrowhead/Big Bear, Utility coordination and traffic control were key <br />challenges addressed. As a separate project, he also completed the design of 5,000 feet of sewer extension, piojeot <br />components Included the Sewer Master plan Update, Preliminary Design Report, and plans, specifications, and estimates. <br />Sushard Trunk Sewer <br />ORANGE COUNTY SANITATION DISTRICT I FOUNTAIN VALLEY, CA <br />Project Manager. Work consisted of the design and construction management of replacing the existing 54-Inch pipeline <br />with approximately 22,0p0 LF"of new 108•inoh concrete -reinforced pipe, The project Included geotechnical and structural <br />Pipe design, and coordination with Involved cities for traffic control, <br />i <br />University of Connecticut WWTP Upgrade and Sewer System Facilities plan <br />UNIVERSITY OF CONNECTICUT I STORRS, Gr <br />Project Engineer. Completion of a sewer system evaluation survey to identify reaches with excessive inflow and Infiltration <br />in the University collection system, An analysis of flows at the treatment plant was completed, as well as a projection of <br />future flows within the study period. A treatment plant upgrade conceptual plan was also developed. <br />Lakewood Boulevard Recycled Water pipeline <br />CITY OF DOWNEY I DOWNEY, CA <br />Projaot Manager. Installation of a recycled water main, potable water meter adjustments, and ether miscellaneous utility <br />relocations and adjustments associated with the design and construction of street Improvements and enhancements <br />along Lakewood Boulevard from Florence Avenue to Telegraph Road. Project was divided into two segments: Lakewood <br />Boulevard between Florence Avenue and Gallatin Road (2,800 foot); and Lakewood Boulevard between Gallatin Road and <br />Telegraph Road (2,700 feet). <br />
