provide contractor with a copy of the prevailing rates of per diem wages in effect at the <br />commencement of this Agreement/Contact. Contact shall make copies of the prevailing <br />rates of per diem wages for each craft, classification or type of worker needed to execute <br />the Services available to interested parties upon request, and shall post copies at the <br />Contractor's principal place of business and at the job site. Contractor shall defend, <br />Indemnify and hold the City, its elected officials, officers, employees and agents free and <br />harmless from any claim or liability arising out of any (allure oraileged failure to comply with <br />the Prevailing Wage Laws, <br />II. TRASH REMOVAL AND DISPOSAL: <br />1. Note the trash likely to be encountered during the course of cleaning includes but is <br />not limited to litter, trash, bio-waste and hypodermic needles, plastic, and cardboard <br />containers, plywood, used lumber, discarded furniture, and small appliances, toys <br />and other household Items. <br />2 Remove and dispose of items listed above according to all applicable laws, codes, <br />and requirements. <br />3. Note that trash removal is incidental to weed removal by either crew. It is included <br />so that the areas looks clean after the weed removal work is completed. <br />IIL MEDIAN GREW <br />1. Provide 2 Crew sizes as follows: <br />3 person crew=1 Leadworker+2 Laborers <br />3 person crew= 3 Laborers <br />2 Provide the crew daily. The assignments may change during the day to respond to <br />urgent requests. Homeless camp debris removal may occur several times a week. <br />a Provide the necessary labor, materials and equipment to remove weeds from all <br />medians, linear parks, sidewalk areas, planters and public lots. <br />4. Remove the trash encountered In areas immediately adjacent to weed clearing <br />along with the weeds. <br />5. Remove by hand or mechanical means, all weeds from medians, sidewalk and <br />street curb joint. <br />6. Maintain and clean the tree wells to enhance appearance and cleanliness of City <br />parkway tree wells by removing weeds and litter. <br />7. Maintain median islands and remove weeds, sucker growth, debris and trash as <br />directed per Scope of Work. <br />a Remove all litter (trash, paper, cans, bottles, signs and other debris).. <br />
