EXHIBIT A <br />SCOPE OF WORK <br />GENERAL REQUIREMENTS <br />1. Licenses and Pon -nits <br />The Contractor shall, prior to award of contract and without additional expenses to the <br />City, possess all licenses and permits required for the performance of the work required <br />by this contract, including but not limited to State License C-27 and a City of Santa Ana <br />Business License. <br />2 Compliance with Applicable Laws and Regulations <br />a Contractor shall perform all requirements under and in strict observance of and <br />compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, ordinances, codes and any other <br />legislative or statutory requirements. <br />b. Contractor warrants that the performance of services under this contract shall be <br />compliant with the current requirements of the Occupational Safety and Health Act <br />(OSHA) and as it may be amended or updated throughout the term of this contract. <br />a Note that all locations and quantities are subject to change at any time in order to respond <br />to unforeseen situations that may arise. City will provide Contractor with as much advance <br />notice as reasonably possible to allow Contractor to adjust schedules and workforces <br />accordingly. <br />4. Oversee workforces to ensure that work is being performed with all due diligence, quickly, <br />and thoroughly and for all the designated work area. <br />5. Perform scheduled and random checks with Project Manager or designee to ensure that <br />all work is being performed satisfactorily. <br />a Provide courteous interaction, direction, information, and referrals to all visitors, property <br />owners, Police Officers, other City employees, or related agencies. <br />7. Minimum Service Levels <br />a. Provide the required number of laborers, technicians, supervisors, and workers as <br />specified below and throughout these specifications. The City has determined <br />these are the required staffing levels necessary to accomplish all of the work <br />requirements within the allotted hours as indicated In the specifications. <br />b. Contractor shall provide three (3) crews each day (Monday — Friday) for scheduled <br />work (Weed Abatement Crew and Alley Crew). Contractor shall provide one (1) <br />
