Maintain continuous 24-hour telephone accessibility during <br />construction activity for emergency use. <br />16. Maintain the record copies of the following: <br />a. Plans, specifications, and contract documents with all changes <br />and modifications. <br />b. Permits and utility requirements. <br />c. Addenda(s), change order(s), shop drawings, product data, <br />submittals, and samples. <br />d. Progress payments, inventories, and applicable codes. <br />e. Contractor's reports, correspondence, certified payrolls, and <br />accident reports. <br />f. Survey and layout data and certifications, photographs of as - <br />built locations and depths. <br />g. List of addresses, telephone and license numbers of General <br />Contractor, all sub -contractors, material suppliers, and utility <br />agencies. <br />17. Determine whether the work of the Contractor is being performed <br />in accordance with the requirements of the contract documents, and <br />Michael Baker will also inform the City of work that does not conform to <br />the requirements of the contract documents. Michael Baker will review <br />the Contractor's recommendations for corrective action on observed <br />nonconforming work. <br />18. Identify and report potential contractor claims and recommend <br />resolution. Incorporate approved changes as they occur. <br />19. Review, comment and recommend processing of invoices for <br />progress and final payments. <br />20. Maintain cost accounting records on authorized work performed <br />under unit costs, additional work performed on the basis of actual costs <br />of labor and materials, or other work requiring accounting records. <br />21. Ensure that safety programs are developed and implemented by the <br />Contractor as required by their contract documents. <br />22. Michael Baker will provide documentation (e.g. memorandum, letter, <br />email, etc.) to the Contractor, City Project Manager, etc., regarding all <br />important issues, decisions, and discussions within three (3) working <br />days. <br />23. Michael Baker will be required to document and submit weekly <br />written progress reports to the Engineer. Prepare the weekly statement <br />of working days and send to the Contractor on a weekly basis. <br />24. Michael Baker will prepare a list of incomplete or unsatisfactory <br />items (punch list) and a schedule for their completion. <br />25. Evaluate the completion of the work of the Contractor and make <br />recommendations to the City Project Manager when work is ready for <br />final inspection. Michael Baker will assist the City Project Manager in <br />conducting final inspections and will secure and transmit to the City <br />Project Manager required guarantees, affidavits, releases, and waivers <br />26. Coordinate close-out of the project, obtain necessary operation <br />manuals, warranties, guarantees, and other applicable necessary <br />information.
