Ms. Bean is overseeing the construction management <br />Non -Bulk HAZMAT <br />and inspection services for the Santa Ana Station Refurbishment project, which <br />Packages <br />requires three 16-inch valves to be replaced. MWD is installing upgraded controls <br />Nuclear Waste Safety <br />to plug valve actuators, changing out the controls to clay valves, and changing <br />for Workers <br />the pressure -relief system, which will put the valve outside to a new pre-fab <br />overflow vault to replace the existing one. In addition, a new driveway approach <br />AVAILABILITY <br />and parking pad will be constructed and coordinated with the City of Costa Mesa. <br />30% <br />Edgewater Sewer Lift Station Replacement <br />CITY OF HUNTINGTON BEACH I HUNTINGTON BEACH, CA <br />Construction Manager. Ms. Bean is overseeing the construction management <br />and inspection services of the replacement of the Edgewater Sewer Lift <br />Station. The project consists of the abandonment and demolition of an <br />existing sewer lift station, and construction and installation of a new 1,000- <br />gpm submersible sewage lift station and force main. The project also includes <br />installation of new gravity sewer, storm drain, water main, and site restoration. <br />The project is complicated with contaminated groundwater and deep <br />excavations, requiring special shoring methods to control groundwater and <br />limit settlement due to groundwater pumping. <br />Long Beach Water Department Emergency Project <br />LONG BEACH WATER DEPARTMENT I LONG BEACH, CA <br />Construction Manager. Ms. Bean oversaw the construction management <br />and inspection services for the completion of an emergency project for the <br />Long Beach Water Department. The project provided LBWD a connection <br />to the Los Angeles County Sanitation District's (LACSD) reclaimed water <br />pipeline. While initially being constructed by a different contractor under the <br />jurisdiction of LACSD, after construction was underway, LACSD's Contractor <br />abandoned the project and LBWD agreed to take over the work. Work involved <br />construction of additional 25-foot-deep shoring within 5 feet of the operational <br />LACSD operational plant. Managing high groundwater along with keeping the <br />V 5 existing plant operational during construction were just a few of the important <br />construction missions to accomplish. <br />
