Research will include records data gathering from all <br />utilities and public agencies operating facilities in the <br />vicinity of the proposed project. All data gathered will be <br />incorporated into the digital base -map and evaluated in <br />conjunction with the field information to identify <br />inconsistencies, missing information and apparent <br />conflicts. <br />Surveying <br />Research on available survey control points and <br />monumentation will start the process. Field survey will <br />establish the project control and place targets for the aerial <br />topo flight. While the flight data is being processed, field <br />crews will gather the cross section information, dip <br />manholes and drain inlets and locate surface utility <br />features. Existing monuments will be accurately located <br />and ties placed to enable post -construction efforts. <br />Concept Plan Development <br />The site plan in the RFP shows there has been some <br />advance planning and H&A will build on that to develop 3 <br />concept plans. These will also reflect the findings of our <br />research, field survey, geotechnical investigations, <br />landscape analysis and initial struGtural developmen (No <br />longer needed in revised proposal since cantilevered <br />viewing decks and pedestrian bridge eliminated.) <br />H&A looks forward to the three meetings with City staff that <br />we envision to be interactive design workshops with one, <br />or more held at the site to better visualize how the <br />concepts fit with existing conditions.
