UNDERSTANDING SCOPE OF SERVICES <br /> 3.1 . Panel Building Services <br /> We will construct and furnish industrial control panels and all work will be in compliance <br /> with the National Electric Code (NEC), Underwriters Laboratories (UL) 508A (standard <br /> for the construction of industrial control panels) and UL508 (standard for safety for <br /> industrial control equipment). We will be responsible for the procurement of all <br /> material and fabrication of control panels on provided drawings and/or functional <br /> specifications. <br /> Prior to commencement of panel building services, we will assess the project and <br /> provide a submittal to the City containing proposed equipment and components as well <br /> as project schedule for the construction of the panels. We will provide separate quotes <br /> for City's review and approval. Once a notice to proceed is received, we will commence <br /> procurement and fabrication activities. <br /> 3.2. Factory Acceptance Test <br /> Any control panel fabricated by KDC systems is inspected by our engineers for <br /> compliance to drawings by verifying interior/exterior layout with the design. We confirm <br /> all items on bill of material have been provided and installed per specification. <br /> We verify all fuse types and rating and ensure fuses are not blown by continuity testing. <br /> We will verify all wire sizes, colors, labels and terminal numbers. <br /> For power distribution circuits we open all circuits before power up and close circuits in <br /> sequence after proper wiring, fuses and voltages have been confirmed. <br /> Cit ouncil 23 - 114 KD 8�yJ�tems <br /> An EMCOR Company <br />
