He has experience in and is currently working on the <br />planning, design and management of a number of complex multi- <br />disciplinary projects as listed below. Mr. Levy also has experience in <br />operating within and producing results working with complex public <br />agencies including the, the City of Los Angeles, Caltrans, and the <br />CPUC. His various responsibilities over the years included multi - <br />modal transportation planning, traffic engineering, construction <br />management, and public works maintenance. Mr. Levy is registered <br />both as a Civil and Traffic Engineer in the State of California, and as <br />a Professional Engineer in the State of New York. <br />Relevant Experience <br />Uptown Bikeway, Phase 3, San Diego CA <br />IBI Group designing a bikeway that will connect some of San Diego's busiest and <br />most popular areas including Old Town, Mission Valley, Downtown, North Park, and <br />Balboa Park. Mr. Levy is the project manager fr the project which is now in the final <br />design phase. The project will create about three miles of safe and comfortable <br />bikeways. Mr. Levy is leading the group of consultants that are developing plans <br />to enhance the experience of all modes of travel with protected bikeways, contra - <br />flow bikeways, bicycle signalization, buffered bike lanes, high -visibility crosswalks, <br />retaining walls, and other streetscape improvements. <br />MyFigueroa Corridor Redesign, Los Angeles, CA <br />IBI Group is leading the traffic signal, signage, striping design, and analysis for the <br />Figueroa Corridor Streetscape Project. Figueroa Street is a major thoroughfare that <br />serves as an alternative to the Interstate 110 freeway in downtown Los Angeles. <br />It also provides access to Staples Center, the Los Angeles Convention Center, <br />Exposition Park, the University of Southern California (USC) and historic auto <br />uses. The Los Angeles Department of Transportation (LADOT) is looking at ways to <br />enhance Figueroa Street to better serve the mix of pedestrians, bicycles, vehicles, <br />transit and businesses that utilize the corridor. Mr. Levy was responsible for the <br />development of concepts, and design of 28 traffic signals for the project which <br />includes Figueroa Street from 7th Street to 41st Street, 11th Street from Figueroa <br />Street to Broadway, and Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard from Vermont Avenue to <br />Figueroa Street. The project is currently under construction. <br />Monrovia Station Square, Monrovia, CA <br />Mr. Levy led the engineering design for the off -site improvements on the Monrovia <br />Station Square Project. The Gold Line Foothill Extension Construction Authority (the <br />"GLCA") is in the process of expanding the Gold Line light -rail system from its current <br />terminus in East Pasadena to Azusa.
